Americas Got Talent Review: Top 48 and Vegas, Baby!
I love the show, but it was a little too well for me. There are only so many times you can listen to host Nick Cannon in the wings of the stage while someone plays with enthusiasm and say, "Now that's talent!" It's a big commitment.An hour featured what appeared to be a "leftovers" of the hearings because it was vague as to what city they were in. I really think the show set up a mishmash of all kinds for all cities of the audition tour and set up a last episode of potential competitors.The time of the second, third and fourth were the beginning of the "Week Vegas." This is where the show flies over 100 acts in Las Vegas, and by the end we get our best 48, which will start play live for a studio in Hollywood and American public vote next week. But more on that later. First, look at short rundown of some of the hearings this week:
Avery and hearts of Calico: three little girls who are very cute, in a nauseating sort of way, sang a song by Justin Bieber three-part harmony.They were quite good, but because they are so young, they sort of sounded like the Chipmunks voice. However, the girls made an impression on the judges and made with the next round. Lots of laughs girl began.
Kevin Shelley: He broke about 20 or larger pieces of wood on his forehead, as Nick Cannon spent the wood to him one by one, ending with the top of his head bloody. Sharon could not stomach and said no, but the other two judges liked the element of danger and subject it to Las Vegas.
J.Chris Newberg: An actor who played very funny hilarious and some "very short" original songs, with the delivery of some great jokes short. I really liked this guy. It made me laugh, and I thought the material was unique and intelligent. With its one-line song about the work the courage to kill his roommate, and his lyrical other things with women, like the ocean, "Fast and deep and beautiful, and once a month is Shark Week, "Sharon and Howie enjoyed his humor. Guess who did not? Yup. Piers. What a shock.Newberg after proclaiming that "no fun", Howie stepped in and reassured the participant to "never feel bad when Piers does not recognize humor." You have that right. I swear that Brit needs to a funny bone implanted in his body, because God must have left her out and give it extra "smarmy" instead. Fortunately, the other two judges have to laugh, and sent through to Vegas.
